When asked to set the record straight on the meaning behind the new ink, the 'Kung Fu Panda 2' actress says, 'Well if they know that it's latitude and longitude they would have figured out quickly.'
Angelina Jolie has sparked adoption rumor when she was snapped sporting a new coordinates tattoo recently. When sitting down with Extra at the 64th Annual Cannes Film Festival to talk about "Kung Fu Panda 2", the 35-year-old actress personally squashed the speculation and confirmed they point out to the birthplace of her partner Brad Pitt.
Asked to clarify the rumor surrounding the new ink, the star of "The Tourist" calmly said, "Well if they know that it's latitude and longitude they would have figured out quickly that it was Brad's birthplace." She went on to point out, "It doesn't take much investigation to figure that one out. It's Shawnee, Oklahoma."
During the chat, the interviewer reminded Angie that she once said she wanted enough kids to be able to put together a football team. To which, the Academy Award winner responded with a smile on her face, "I'm on my way." Pursued further if that means there is a possibility she will adopt, she simply said, "Not at this time."
Adoption speculation ran high back in early April when Angie flaunted a new coordinates tattoo underneath the inks of the coordinates of her six children's birthplaces during a United Nation goodwill trip. Wonderwall, at the time, suggested that the first number on the ink, 35 degrees north, points to Algeria, but In Touch Weekly begged to differ, presenting another theory that they are more related to Brad's.
