AceShowbiz - Prince Harry has been praised for his best man speech. Serving as the best man of Prince William on Friday, April 29, the 26-year-old prince was said to have delivered a "brilliant" wedding toast to the new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge during the royal reception at Buckingham Palace later in the evening.
To Us Weekly, a guest at the reception gushed that the boyfriend of Chelsy Davy "was brilliant" with his speech. "We all wished he could have just carried on. It was perfect. He was very nice," said the pal before adding that he "was the model brother [and] said all the things he needed to say. It was perfect. He was a dude."
Earlier in the day, Harry accompanied William as the latter entered Westminster Abbey. While waiting for Kate to join them at the altar, he was seen cracking jokes and telling his brother that his bride has arrived. The Sun additionally reported that the British royal was also spotted whispering praise to Pippa Middleton. "You do look very beautiful today - seriously," he reportedly told Kate's sister.
As for Kate, the 29-year-old traded her wedding gown for another gorgeous white dress for the royal reception at Buckingham Palace. She wore a white satin strapless evening gown with a circle skirt and diamante detailing around the waist. Her new husband, meanwhile, changed his scarlet colonel uniform to a classic, double-breasted dinner jacket and bow tie.
