The former 'Lost' star is armed with big guns in a sneak peek to the show's upcoming episode where he portrays a mysterious character called Black Rider.
"Lost" alum Josh Holloway is going to stop by "Community" for one of its final episodes this season. His appearance is now teased in the form of a picture showing him being armed with what looks like paintball guns and their bullets.
Holloway will show up in the show's May 5 episode as a mysterious and threatening figure called Black Rider. He crosses paths with Annie on the Greendale campus, but there is no word on whether or not this will be an encounter of the romantic nature.
To TV Guide, Holloway reveals what leads him to take the gig. "Chevy [Chase - 'Community' actor] was a huge 'Lost' fan who used to call me at random times and leave me funny messages," he says. "So when this opportunity came up, I said, 'Heck yeah!' "
In the episode, the Greendale student body enjoys their year-end picnic, while Dean Pelton (Jim Rash) announces plans for a small, quick, safe game of paintball. As the game heats up, alliances are formed and broken, and friendships are put to the test. The paintball game will continue in Part 2 of the finale on May 12.
