Report: Justin Timberlake Will Host 'Saturday Night Live' Finale

Justin Timberlake

A tweet from the show, which hints that Timberlake will host one of the May episodes, has been deleted after the report spreads.

Justin Timberlake might host "Saturday Night Live" finale. The rumor starts spreading after the show's official Twitter account responded to a fan who wrote, "I didn't realize that @nbcSNL isn't back until May 7th!!! What am I going to do!? Is Tina Fey the season finale!?" The question was then replied with, "Nope! We have Timberlake after that!"

The tweet from "SNL" was soon deleted and a spokesperson for the show has not released any comment regarding the report. However, judging from the tweet, some suggest that Timberlake might appear on May 14 instead of hosting the finale which is set to air May 21, because Fey's episode is May 7.

Timberlake has hosted "SNL" several times. Back in May 2009, "The Social Network" actor took a jab at his former girlfriend Britney Spears, claiming to have slept with her in a sketch.
