The Mother Monster is going to perform live at MTV Video Music Aid Japan on June 25 to benefit relief effort in the country post Tsunami in March.

Lady GaGa continues to show her support for her fans in Japan. The "Born This Way" hitmaker is the first international performer who is confirmed to sing at MTV Video Music Aid Japan to benefit Japanese Red Cross and raise awareness about the disasters that hit the country last March.

The event will be broadcast live from Makuhari Messe on Saturday, June 25 as part of MTV's Music of Hope campaign. Also marking the tenth annual celebration of MTV's Video Music Awards Japan, the gig is going to be hosted by Japanese pop sensation AKB48.

Lady GaGa is one of the people who were quick to make contribution in helping the victims of the Tsunami in Japan. Earlier this year, the singer sold 'We Pray for Japan' wristbands and raised more than 250,000 dollars. She's also listed in "Songs for Japan" compilation which was released to raise more money for the relief effort.
