The Bajan singer leads the pack with 18 nominations, while the Slim Shady and the Monster ringleader follow her with 16 and 15 nods respectively.

Nominees for 2011 Billboard Music Awards have been announced during a press conference at the Paris Hotel and Casino Las Vegas, Nevada. Taking the most nods are the likes of Rihanna, Eminem and Lady GaGa who frequently occupied the Billboard charts during the period of February 28, 2010 through March 1, 2011.

RiRi gets 18 nominations with "Love the Way You Lie", her joint track with the Slim Shady, appearing in six "song categories." She gets other nods for Top R&B Album ("Loud"), Top R&B Song ("What's My Name?"), and 10 nods in key categories including Top Artist and Top Female Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, and Top R&B Artist.
