The new preview for the upcoming film gives an extended look at a scene where Paul Bettany and Cam Gigandet are attacked by vampires.
New "Priest" trailer has been unveiled. The video for the horror sci-fi movie features an extended look at Paul Bettany and Cam Gigandet who are attacked by a bundle of vampires. A shorter preview to the scene has been previously obtained from a TV spot aired during Super Bowl in February.
"Priest" tells a tale of the title character who has to break his sacred vows and ventures out to find his niece, who is kidnapped by vampires. Having lived in walled-in dystopian cities controlled by the Church, he was stripped out of the order as he breaks the swear.
Yet, he keeps continuing the quest and is joined by Priestess, a member of his former legion of vampire-killers who has otherworldly fighting skills, and his niece's boyfriend, Hicks.
In addition to Bettany and Gigandet, other stars joining the Scott Charles Stewart-helmed film are Maggie Q, Karl Urban, Stephen Moyer, Christopher Plummer, Brad Dourif, Madchen Amick, and Lily Collins. The PG-13-rated movie will hit theaters nationwide on May 13.
