Benicio's representative confirms that the 'Wolfman' actor is indeed the father of Kimberly Stewart's baby, but stresses that the two are 'not a couple'.

AceShowbiz - Benicio del Toro is going to be a father. The actor, who was seen starring opposite Emily Blunt in "The Wolfman", is expecting a baby with Rod Stewart's daughter, Kimberly Stewart, his representative has confirmed.

To People Magazine, representative for the 44-year-old actor said, "Kimberly is pregnant. Benicio is the father and is very supportive." His rep additionally stressed that the twosome "are not a couple". Still, "they are looking forward to the arrival of the baby," so claimed the rep.

Benicio is best known for his roles in 2000's "Traffic", 2003's "21 Grams" and 2008's "Che" ("Guerrilla" and "The Argentine"). He won Best Supporting Actor at the Academy Awards thanks to "Traffic", and was once again nominated in the same category for "21 Grams".

Kimberly, in the meantime, has followed her father's footsteps in showbiz. The 31-year-old, who has worked as an actress and model, was once engaged to former "Laguna Beach" star Talan Torriero, and has been linked romantically to the likes of Jude Law and Rhys Ifans.
