The four main cast are reportedly finalizing deals to return to the dramedy series for at least one season.

AceShowbiz - Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross and Eva Longoria are staying on Wisteria Lane. After their negotiations were described as "tenuous" a few months ago, the main cast of "Desperate Housewives" are finalizing deals to return to the drama comedy series for at least one season.

The new pacts are for one year with an option for a second, Deadline reports. With the four leading ladies on board, it is expected that ABC will officially announce the eighth season "though it is unclear whether that will happen right away or closer to the May upfronts."

Early in 2011, it was reported that Huffman, Cross and Longoria demanded a higher paycheck. Meanwhile, Hatcher had allegedly closed her deal separately from the other housewives.

Their new base salary are reportedly around $325,000 per episode, up from the $275,000 they had been earning. With additional compensation factored in, the actresses could earn $375,000 per episode. If their option for Season 9 is exercised, their base salary is slated to go up to around $350,000. This way, they could make as much as $18 million each for both upcoming seasons.
