The new trailer hints at the mermaid's role in Jack Sparrow's journey to the Fountain of Youth while sharing more fresh scenes.

AceShowbiz - Walt Disney Pictures has just unearthed a new trailer for "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" via Yahoo! Movies. It spills detail on the story, hinting at the mermaid's role on Jack Sparrow's adventure to the Fountain of Youth. It additionally has a lot of new footage, including the one which features Sparrow's father, Keith Richards' Captain Teague.
The fourth "Pirates of the Caribbean" film begins as Sparrow is ordered by King George II to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. He then recruits Barbossa, his old nemesis, to join the mission. Along the way, he will meet a friendly mermaid and be tempted by a wicked former flame, Angelica, and her sadistic father, Blackbeard.
Johnny Depp reprises his role as the eccentric pirate, while Barbossa is still portrayed by Geoffrey Rush. Ian McShane and Penelope Cruz are cast as villainous Blackbeard and his daughter Angelica respectively.
"Nine" helmer Rob Marshall is recruited to direct the new installment of the action comedy film franchise, with the script written by Terry Rossio and Ted Elliot. "On Stranger Tides" is made in 3-D and will be dropped in U.S. cinemas on May 20.
