AceShowbiz - Ne-Yo has explained why he slammed Snooki over her Rolling Stone's cover. Attending the premiere of "Battle: Los Angeles" on Tuesday night, March 8, the 31-year-old singer clarified E! News that his Twitter comments were not particularly directed at the "Jersey Shore" star.
Addressing the issue, the "Miss Independent" hitmaker stated, "I gotta reiterate, no disrespect to Snooki. I don't know her so I can't disrespect her but I feel like Rolling Stone is a music magazine and for them to put her on the cover, it's like, 'Really?!' " Still, he wasn't really bothered by it, saying "I think I'll be all right. I think I'll sleep tonight."
Ne-Yo sparked feud with Snooki on Monday, March 7 when he tweeted, "Wow. Snooki is on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. Really? I quit. (Just kidding, but almost serious....)." He followed it up with another tweet that read, "No disrespect to Snooki, I don't know her, but damn Rolling Stone? REALLY? REALLY! I guess......"
23-year-old Snooki herself has responded to the Twitter comment on Wednesday morning, March 9. Expressing her disappointment, the reality TV star tweeted that the "So Sick" hitmaker has lost a fan by doing so. "Neyo's mad that I got the cover of rolling stone? Hm you lost a loyal fan. What a buzz kill.#sorry," so she wrote.
