While ABC is occupied with 2011 Academy Awards coverage, CBS continues with the "Unfinished Business" on "The Amazing Race". The premiere last week showed no elimination but this time, a couple went home. Engaged couple Amanda and Kris from season 14 was the first to go home this season after they got delayed by the detour and incurred a U-Turn.
Meanwhile, bestfriends Zev & Justin who came fourth last week, took a huge leap to finish at the first place. As a reward, they won a trip for two to Cancun, Mexico. Cowboys Jet and Cord who wouldn't be in competition had it been an elimination round last week, checked in at number three behind Harlem Globetrotters. Last week's first-placer Gary & Mallory are now in the ninth place ahead of Ron & Christina.
Next week, the ten teams travel to Japan where they have to perform some traditional rituals. Jaime & Cara, as seen in the preview, suffered a major setback as the vehicle that they drove struck someone in the middle of the traffic.
