The film about Facebook gets a trophy for its adapted screenplay, while the British royal drama is honored for its original script.

AceShowbiz - Two of 2011 Academy Awards' Best Picture nominees, "The Social Network" and "The King's Speech", have won a gong each from the February 27 ceremony. The former snatches Best Adapted Screenplay title and the latter nabs Best Original Screenplay kudo.
Receiving the award from presenters Javier Bardem and Josh Brolin, "Social Network" scribe Aaron Sorkin credits director David Fincher. "I wrote this movie but David Fincher made this movie," he says, before giving a shout out to producer Scott Rudin.
In the meantime, David Seidler is the one taking credit for "King's Speech" best screenplay title. His win that night makes him the oldest winner of the Original Screenplay award.
Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren later performs her duty to announce Best Foreign Language Film. "In a Better World" (Denmark) comes out as the winner, beating out Bardem-starring "Biutiful" as well as other strong contenders.
