Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry receive double nominations each, including Favorite Song which sees them battling each other.
Nominations list of Nickelodeon's 2011 Kids' Choice Awards has been unveiled, seeing Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry dominate the music field with two nods each. The three of them face off against each other in Favorite Song along with another competitor Train.
Swift and Perry additionally are up for Favorite Female Singer, battling Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus. Bieber, meanwhile, gets his second nod in Favorite Male Singer - he goes head-to-head with Bruno Mars, Jay-Z and Usher.
"My life was changed by fans and by kids like me clicking on my videos and letting me chase a dream. Once again those same kids are there and I am forever grateful," Bieber told Us Magazine. "I'm excited and honored to be nominated for two Kids' Choice Awards. I hope this encourages other kids to chase their dreams as well."
The other nominees are Big Time Rush, Black Eyed Peas, Jonas Brothers and Lady Antebellum. The four bands are competing for Favorite Music Group in this upcoming awards show which is slated to air live from Los Angeles on Saturday, April 2, at 8 P.M.
In its 24th annual celebration, Jack Black will return as a host for a third time. "Anyone can host something once," he spoke to EW. "But if they ask you back a second time, that means they liked the way you did it. And if you host a third time, that means the first time wasn't a fluke, and it means you did good two times. So the third time, well - that's the real achievement."
The event will also honor those in movie, TV, sport and pop culture.
