AceShowbiz - After releasing a still of "The Ballad of Mona Lisa" music video, Panic At the Disco now follow it up with an official trailer. It features drum-driven sound on the background as snippet of the video rolls in. They tease, "In life, we all abide by a certain set of rules. And as in life, there also exist rules in..."
The music video was shot in Los Angeles with their longtime collaborator Shane Drake serving behind the lens. Drake previously directed the group's music videos for "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" and "Nine In the Afternoon". This band are going to make the song available for download on February 1 and will premiere the video sometime in the same month.
"Ballad of Mona Lisa" is the first single from Panic At the Disco's upcoming studio album "Vices & Virtues" which is due in the United States on March 29. Produced by Butch Walker (Weezer, Pink) and John Feldmann (Neon Trees, The Used), the album marks the band's first new release in three years, as well as their debut outing as a duo comprised of Brendon Urie and Spencer Smith.
