New star Rob Lowe throws a fit when the cast tell him that the show has not been on air for five months straight, meaning nobody has seen his 'beautiful face' for a long time.
"Parks and Recreation" has one NSFW promo that wouldn't pass NBC's sensor, so it turns to Funny or Die.com. All the main cast appear in the video but its spotlight is given to the new addition, Rob Lowe, and his ego.
While Amy Poehler and friends celebrate the imminent premiere of the show's third season, Lowe goes nuts when finding out that he is not seen on television for five months long. The actor, who plays Chris Traeger, has trouble understanding how people have survived without seeing his beautiful face.
Showing rage, Lowe spills the coffee on Aziz Ansari's face and tells Aubrey Plaza to get him a new cup. Refusing to be his slave, Plaza tells the narcissistic man that she was on the show before him. But Lowe responds, "There was no f**king show before me!"
Lowe then boasts about his movie career and owning Miramax. While he joked about all the things he said before, he is not exactly lying about this one. Back in August last year, the actor announced that he is the studio's "creative partner".
"Parks and Recreation" returns January 20 on NBC. Beside Lowe, Adam Scott is also the new face on the sitcom, playing the person who has to tell the bad news after Lowe's Chris tells the euphemism.
