Staying true to the song title, this newly-premiered music video is filled with a lot of 'Lights' and laser beams with some CGI effects.

AceShowbiz - Ellie Goulding has debuted a music video for her latest single "Lights". The clip focuses on the U.K. artist as she sings, plays tambourine and drums, as well as dances with colorful laser beams surrounding her every move.

The song is lifted from Goulding's debut record of the same name "Lights" and released as the second single from the album re-package "Bright Lights". The effort is a hit in U.K., once ruling the country's albums chart, and now she hopes to extend the success Stateside. She will release "a special US full length of Lights" on March 8 via Cherrytree/ Interscope Records.

Beside waiting for the album release in the U.S., Goulding also looks forward to BRIT Awards which will be held on February 15. The 2010 winner of BRIT Critics' Choice Award is nominated for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act this year.

The 24-year-old singer is competing against Cheryl Cole, Laura Marling, Paloma Faith and Rumer in the former category, and going head-to-head with Mumford & Sons, Rumer, Tinie Tempah and The xx in the latter.
