The awards season still goes on and Palm Springs International Film Festival has held a gala night for its 22nd annual awards on January 8. Some of the best in movie industry came to Palm Springs Convention Center in California to receive their accolades, including "Black Swan" beauty Natalie Portman and "The Town" actor/helmer Ben Affleck.

The newly-engaged actress and expecting mother showed off her mini baby bump in a black loose dress. She greeted her "Brothers" co-star Jake Gyllenhaal on the red carpet and posed with "Black Swan" helmer Darren Aronofsky. Gyllenhaal later presented her with a kudo for Desert Palm Achievement Actress and she thanked fiance Benjamin Millepied who she said "now partners me in life."

Affleck also showed up on stage to receive Chairman's Award. "They told me I was going to get the Chairman's Award. I thought it was, like, the award for the people who loot the company, and everybody goes broke," he joked about his Palm Springs honor.

"The Social Network" stars such as Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield and Brenda Song made appearances at the star-studded event as they were presented with Ensemble Performance Award. Garfield's "Never Let Me Go" co-star Carey Mulligan was also honored with a kudo for Breakthrough Performance.

"Winter's Bone" starlet Jennifer Lawrence was another shining star at the Saturday show, being recognized as Rising New Star.
