Soon after news that Kim Kardashian is trying her hands on music emerged, many suggested she may collaborate with Kanye West. The speculation went rife because the two have recently been spotted visiting each other with Kanye most recently dropping by her DASH opening.
"[Kanye's] a musical genius, so I would be honored to work with Kanye," Kim told MTV at the special event which was held in New York City on Wednesday, November 3. "It's all in fun. We're just trying to have a good time." She additionally said, "I am having fun [with] whatever I'm doing right now. I'm having fun."
Adding to the media frenzy of her music debut, a song called "Shake" which hit the web earlier this week was claimed to be one of her materials. But the reality TV personality was quick to debunk it, tweeting "So I guess some song was released today and people seem to think its me, sorry guys, it's not me!"
It seems that Kim Kardashian's music project isn't finished. She is currently working on it with The-Dream, one of masterminds behind Rihanna's "Umbrella" and Beyonce Knowles' "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)". A source said her voice is "really good" and another insider testified that the music is "fun."
Although the music is not done yet, Kim has already had fans, sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian, who support her into the music game. Khloe jokingly said, "I can tell you I am a rapper, and my name is K-Money, and I do a remix on Kim's song. And Kourtney is an opera singer; she could throw you a beat."
