In one of the featurettes debuted to highlight the film's characters, Brad Pitt's Metro Man looks unkempt as he decides to succumb to his inner passion as a musician.
DreamWorks wants the audience to know "Megamind" characters well by releasing several featurettes which highlight Megamind, Tighten, the Minion and Roxanne. It has fresh scenes featuring the said characters and interviews with the voice cast including Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Jonah Hill and David Cross.
While Ferrell explains how Megamind becomes a super villain before transforming into a good guy, Fey reveals that reporter Roxanne is kind of enjoying entangled in the fights between Megamind and Metro Man. The hero, however, is later giving up his title and one featurette titled "Heroic Turn" has a look at the unkempt Metro Man.
"Megamind" revolves around two extraterrestrials who are sent to Earth while a baby and raised in two completely different environments. After numerous battles between the two, Megamind finally defeats Metro Man who then succumbs to his inner passion as a musician.
It turns out that life without a rival is life without a point for Megamind, so he creates a new superhero rival, Tighten. Unfortunately for him and the world, the new hero wants to be a super villain too. The new villain begins his rampage, and Megamind sets out to stop him, beginning a path to redemption in the process.
Directed by Tom McGrath, the animation also has Brad Pitt providing the voice of Metro Man. This movie will be released in 3-D on November 5.
