2010 Scream Awards: 'Eclipse' Dominates Partial List of Movie Winners

The vampire-themed film rakes in five kudos, including the coveted Best Fantasy Movie and The Ultimate Scream awards.

A gala night for 2010 Scream Awards has been held on Saturday, October 16 to announce the winners. While the full winners will only be unveiled when the show airs on Spike TV October 19, some of the awards recipients have allegedly been leaked.

According to Examiner, "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse" was named Best Fantasy Movie and The Ultimate Scream. The third "Twilight" movie also helped its cast like Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Xavier Samuel to win some titles that night.

"Avatar" was also said among big winners during the event with some of the kudos including for Best F/X, Best Director and 3D Top Three. James Cameron, who accepted the awards for his sci-fi movie, also presented the film's actress Sigourney Weaver with the first ever Scream Heroine Award.

"Green Lantern", which is yet to hit theaters, has additionally been honored at the annual award show. The superhero movie was dubbed Most Anticipated Movie and Ryan Reynolds was present to receive gong from his co-star Blake Lively.

This year's Scream Awards also paid tribute to "Back to the Future" by inviting the actors Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd to show up on the stage. Sneak peeks to some upcoming flicks like "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I", "Paranormal Activity 2", "The Rite" as well as "Scream 4" were also presented at the show.
