Brushing off report mentioning the 49-year-old actress' longtime partner has proposed to her, the rep says, 'Heather Locklear and Jack Wagner are not engaged.'

AceShowbiz - A rep for Heather Locklear has stepped up to debunk recent rumor that the 49-year-old actress is engaged to actor boyfriend of three years, Jack Wagner. Clearing out the report, the rep told People, "Heather Locklear and Jack Wagner are not engaged."
The engagement report was first brought up by Britain's Daily Express after a friend told them that Jack proposed to Heather during her birthday party in late September. On this, another friend said, "There was no proposal and there is no engagement."
"It was a regular birthday party with good friends, candles and a cake, but that's it," the pal went on. And although Heather and Jack have been dating since early 2007, the friend claimed the couple has no plan to walk down the aisle.
The claim is contrary to a friend's statement to Britain's Daily Express which mentioned that Heather "never felt the time was right" but "now she is ready" to take her relationship with Jack to the next level by saying yes to the actor's alleged proposal.
