'Lost' Star Josh Holloway On Board for 'Mission: Impossible IV'

The depicter of Sawyer on the hit TV series is in final negotiations to be a member of the Impossible Mission Force led by Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt.

AceShowbiz - After landing on "Lost" island, Josh Holloway will take his next trip with "Mission: Impossible IV". The 41-year-old actor is currently negotiating his deal to star in the upcoming movie as a member of the Impossible Mission Force, the secret agent task force headed by Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt, The Hollywood Reporter reports.

Holloway's involvement in the fourth "Mission: Impossible" film will be his first major screen role since wrapping the ABC show, "Lost", in which he portrayed anti-hero Sawyer. In between his filming for the sci-fi drama series, he shot for indie films like "Whisper" and "Stay Cool".

Previously, "Mission: Impossible IV" has got Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton and Michael Nyqvist as new cast members, joining the franchise vets Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg and Cruise.

Production is scouting locations in Vancouver, Prague and Dubai with plans to start shooting this fall. Directed by Brad Bird, the action movie is slated to arrive in the U.S. on December 16, 2011.
