Michael Grimm has left audience on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in awe. The winner of "America's Got Talent" 's fifth season, got down on one knee to propose to longtime girlfriend Lucy Zolcerova. Lucy, who has dated Michael for three years, couldn't wipe smile off her faces as she answered yes.
"I'm ecstatic right now. Well, he's been saying for three years he was going to propose, so I wasn't taking it so seriously," Lucy told People. "But I had no clue whatsoever. I was sitting there, enjoying the show and then... yeah. I can't imagine myself with anybody else. He's my soul mate, and I love him."
Lucy has become a fan of Michael long before he won the talent show. Lucy first met Michael when the Mississippi blues singer performed with his band in Las Vegas. "He was great. I bought all of Michael's CDs, and while he was signing them, he invited me out to another event," she shared.
However, Lucy has now had to share his admiration for Michael with lots of his new devotees. On this, Lucy stated, "I don't plan to keep them at bay. I think he needs to be shared with the world. People gravitate toward him naturally. He's just a humble and genuine person."
During the proposal, Michael, in his signature fedora, told host Ellen DeGeneres, "She's been there for me. Once you find that good woman you hang on to her." Beside winning $1 million, the singer, who sang "When a Man Loves a Woman" during September 14 finals, also landed one year contract to headline in Las Vegas, Nevada.
