AceShowbiz - First looks at Rihanna in "Battleship" and David Tennant in "Fright Night" have surfaced online. The 22-year-old has been snapped on the set of the movie. Meanwhile, a look at Tennant as Peter Vincent is obtained from a banner which features a tag of Hard Rock Hotel, where some scenes of the movie are taken.

On the set pictures, Rihanna is seen wearing an army uniform as well as black boots. She additionally sports a short dark-colored locks, which is hidden under a cap. Tennant, who portrays a Las Vegas stage magician, is captured showing Gothic style with long hair and beards. He is pictured in a pose as if he is ready to unleash a power from his hands.

Based on Hasbro's game, "Battleship" will focus on a massive Naval adventure across the seas, in the skies and over land as our planet fights for survival against a superior force. The movie is possibly being filmed in Hawaii as Rihanna tweeted last weekend that she will work there for two weeks. Peter Berg is serving behind the lens for this Alexander Skarsgard-starring movie, which is set for May 18, 2012 release in the U.S.

As for "Fright Night", this remake version of 1985 horror film of the same title will follow a teen who is being convinced that his new neighbor is a vampire, though no one will believe him. This Craig Gillespie-directed film has Anton Yelchin as the lead actor, with the likes of Imogen Poots and Colin Farrell on supporting roles. The upcoming comedy is due for October 7, 2011 U.S. release.
