Jack Black Reunites With Miranda Cosgrove on 'iCarly'

Jack Black

The two-time Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards host is coming over the kids show as a video game expert who will come face to face with Spencer at Webicon.

Jack Black is jumping from one TV series to another. In the past two years alone, he has shown up on "The Office" and "Community". This time he's moving away from the NBC label to guest star on Nickelodeon's "iCarly".

Black, who is popular among kids with his role in "The School of Rock" and his voice in "Kung Fu Panda" is slated to appear in an episode, EW heard from a source. He's going to play Aspartamay, Spencer's nemesis in videogaming, who will challenge Spencer at the show's so-called Comic Con, the Webicon.

Black will film his part this week for a premiere later this season. This would be his reunion with the series' star Miranda Cosgrove who played the ambitious band manager Summer Hathaway in "The School of Rock".

For some reason, I just googled Jack Black Rolling Stone cover. That blue shirt makes him look a bit more masculine. Amazing what a few less clothes will do. I remember now, clothes make the man. Good job, Jack. “Kung Fu Panda” and “School of Rock” are cool. Po is one of the best characters ever. I can see why “iCarly” is so excited about having Jack on the show. As much as I love that movie, “Kung Fu Panda,” and laugh every time I see it, I have a problem with the scroll. That scene never bothered the children. They bought it hook, line, and sinker. I could not, so I pretended it was not there. Ti Ling saw the scroll, so there is no real explanation for why Po won. Maybe Jack knows. I think the scroll should have said something, maybe “Love.” But, it is hard to see how you could have a force of professional lovers in the front ranks of the battle. Usually they are only camp followers. Can’t wait for “The Kaboom of Doom.” From what I have heard about the episode, it should be hilarious. Jerry Trainor is one of the funniest guys I know. I hope he kicks Jack’s Aspartamay. I hope Carly kicks Jack’s Aspartamay, too. She belongs in the ring.
