Cillian Murphy is offered the role of an officer from an organization known as Timekeepers and will be 'precise as the time he keeps.'
20th Century Fox is going to turn Cillian Murphy to be an "I'm.mortal". The actor who has one of the key roles in "Inception" has been in negotiations to join the upcoming flick to portray an officer from an organization known as Timekeepers and described as "precise as the time he keeps," The Hollywood Reporter (THR) reports.
Amanda Seyfried is cast as the female lead with Justin Timberlake still negotiating his deal to star opposite the "Dear John" beauty. Timberlake's character Will is falsely accused of murdering a wealthy man when he is suddenly given a fortune and is forced to go on the run with beautiful hostage portrayed by Seyfried.
According to THR, the story "is set in the not-too-distant future, when the aging gene has been switched off. To avoid overpopulation, time has become the currency and the way people pay for luxuries and necessities. The rich can live forever, and the rest try to negotiate for their immortality."
Andrew Niccol is writing the script and set to serve as a director for "I'm.mortal". Shooting is scheduled to start in late September but no release date has been set for the sci-fi drama.
Before landing a role as Robert Fischer, Jr. in "Inception", Cillian Murphy has appeared on "The Dark Knight" as Scarecrow. He will next be seen in drama musical "Hippie Hippie Shake" where Sienna Miller is also cast.
