While the likes of Eminem, David Archuleta and Kanye West chose to premiere their music video on August 5 for their singles; "Love the Way You Lie", "Something 'Bout Love" and "Power" respectively, Katy Perry on that day prefers to release a sneak peek to her own clip. The snippet features her enjoying a road trip with her lover played by Josh Kloss, frolicking and partying with him and some friends.

The song is taken from Katy Perry's new album of the same name "Teenage Dream" which is due in United States on August 24. The music video is directed by Yoann Lemoine and going to be premiered in full next week, on August 10.

Before "Teenage Dream" was released, "California Gurls" which features Snoop Dogg is offered as the first offering. It's a smash hit, ruling Billboard Hot 100 and the other singles charts around the world. Recently, it was reported that The Beach Boys threatened to sue her for including their famous "California Girls" lyrics into her track.

Shortly after the news emerges, representatives for Beach Boys members Mike Love and Brian Wilson issued a statement, insisting it was the label's idea, not theirs, to take legal action over the song. Adding to clear up the rumor, Katy Perry herself wrote on Twitter, "No one is suing anyone. The press just loves to once again fabricate & exaggerate stories to get hits or sell papers."
