The star-studded action movie brings a full trailer while the big screen adaptation of the comic books is previewed in new clips.
The panels for "Red" and "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" perhaps are the most cheerful ones during the first day of San Diego Comic Con. Summit Entertainment brought a full-length trailer for the action comedy movie which made people laugh when watching it. The video has since made its way out via Apple.
Bruce Willis, joined by his co-stars Karl Urban, Mary-Louise Parker and Helen Mirren, as well as producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, answered some questions from the attendees. Perhaps amazed by John Malkovich's laughable scenes on the trailer, a fan asked Mirren and Willis, "What do you think it would be like to be John Malkovich?" to which the two stars laughed before they expressed their admiration.
Securing a late slot on Thursday, July 22, Universal Pictures panel for "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" managed to keep the attendees' spirit as it is full of humors. Lead actor Michael Cera had some contribution to these as he came out dressing in Captain America costume after director Edgar Wright explained that Chris Evans could not attend the panel because he is filming "Captain America: The First Avenger".
Beside Cera, at least twelve other cast from the movie also joined the presentation. They were introduced with a montage of his or her character set to rocking music. Then, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost came as surprise guests, walking on and off the stage.
A new clip from the movie showing Cera battling Jason Schwartzman was also premiered but the video has not been available to be embedded below. However, another new clip titled "Grammar" which sees Cera encountering Brandon Routh has made its way out via IGN.
