'Vampire Diaries' and 'True Blood' Crossover Suggested

Nina Dobrev
Self-proclaiming a fan of Alexander Skarsgard's Eric, 'Diaries' star Nina Dobrev throws in an idea of a merge.

The cast of "The Vampire Diaries" previously refused the show being compared to "Twilight" saga but they are not so closed up on fellow vampire series "True Blood". Nina Dobrev who plays Elena and Katherine in the CW series has expressed her interest to merge her show and "True Blood" especially if most of the scenes involve Katherine and Alexander Skarsgard's Eric.

Speaking to MTV's Hollywood Crush, Dobrev mentioned "Eric" as her favorite character. "Because he's not on 'The Vampire Diaries' - I already get to play with those boys on set and as Elena and Katherine - so it would be fun to be on 'True Blood' and to be with the bad boy on 'True Blood'," she said.

After a thought, she jotted in an idea, saying, "You know what? I would like to merge ['Vampire Diaries' and 'True Blood']. I want Katherine and Eric to be together," and adding "That would be fun!".

Both "Vampire Diaries" and "True Blood" will be present at the upcoming San Diego Comic Con International. The former takes the Ballroom 20 on Saturday, July 24 slot at 4:15 P.M. while the latter takes the room a day prior at 5:15 P.M.
