Jake and Vienna Final Smackdown: He Said, She Said
TV

The 'Bachelorette' special which was taped shortly after they announced their split include a lot of accusations, tears, harsh language, sarcastic words and interruptions.

AceShowbiz - The smackdown between Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi finally aired full on Monday, July 5 after "The Bachelorette" episode. There was indeed no fist being pulled or any physical altercation other than Jake yelling at Vienna and she storming out of the set with tears.

Jake was the first to come out and have the chance to explain the situation. Host Chris Harrison asked him the ultimate question of "What happened?", to which he replied "Just to be honest with you, I'm still processing this. ...Before I left, the relationship was going downhill, but I wasn't ready to quit fighting."

Shortly later, Vienna was brought in and she was asked the same question. "Well, I guess it started about a month after we're dating, right?" Vienna asking for Jake's approval. "The first month together was great. He was crazy about me. From there it went straight downhill. It felt like a relationship when cameras were rolling or we were out on a red carpet, but when we were at home [it was] lonely. I just wanted him to be around me and talk to me and kiss me like a normal relationship."

Chris moved the topic to the tabloid interviews. As previously teased, Vienna went into details with their break-up to the media because she wanted to have a voice. And when Jake had time to voice his opinion, he snapped, "I'm so mad at you. I'm disgusted with you." Vienna's temperature was rising too that she said, "You are a fame whore is what you are."

Chris pretty much didn't have to ask anymore question after that for the formerly engaged couple exchanged words at their own defense. Vienna blamed Jake's choice of life, saying "My impression was that you were a pilot and we were going to go back to Florida and Dallas and live a normal life. Instead, we're in L.A. and you're pursuing a career in acting."

Firing back, Jake said that Vienna only did "Dancing with the Stars" because it put her on TV. He also noted that Vienna always undermined him, whether it was a decision to move the furniture or finding a place. As for Vienna, she complained of Jake not trying to get to know her family and being intimate with her, which are not what people in a relationship would do.

It went 'he said, she said' when Chris asked who broke the relationship. Vienna revealed that she took off her ring twice but Jake claimed he was the one who decided to end it. All through the conversation, Vienna gave Jake little time to finish his sentences. This fact later prompted Jake to shout at her "Please stop interrupting me!" and Vienna to break down in tears. She left the set, saying "I'm done".
