As '/\/\/\Y/\' release date gets closer, M.I.A. brings forward another new song and offers it for download prior to the album arrival.

M.I.A. debuts another fresh material from her upcoming release "/\/\/\Y/\". Filled with sounds of scratches and synth-drum beats, the track titled "Teqkilla" has been made available for digital purchase on iTunes.

Prior to her album release on July 13, M.I.A. has preceded it not only with debuts of new songs but also with a lot of controversies. She set tongues wagging when premiering bloody violent music video for her song "Born Free" and has a beef with a New York Times journalist for writing an "unflattering" story about her. Additionally, she took a jab at Justin Bieber which she has traced back.

M.I.A. will celebrate the album release with a live performance on "Late Show with David Letterman". She additionally has several concerts listed on her schedule with some of them set to be held across the pond. More info about her upcoming shows can be found on her MySpace.
