Second Wave of 2010 Teen Choice Awards Nominees in Music

B.o.B and Demi Lovato, who are absent when the first wave of TCAs music nominations was announced, now receive four nods each.

The second wave of 2010 Teen Choice Awards nominees has arrived. In music field, B.o.B and Demi Lovato lead with four nods each, while the likes of Lady GaGa, Rihanna, Paramore, Ke$ha and Drake follow with three each.

B.o.B is vying for Choice Single through Bruno Mars-assisted single "Nothin' On You", facing off Miley Cyrus, Ke$ha, GaGa and Katy Perry. Along with Paramore's Hayley Williams, he is also up for Choice Hook Up, competing against Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull, GaGa and Beyonce Knowles, Timbaland and Perry, as well as We the Kings and Lovato.

The Atlantic Records rapper receives his third nod in Choice Breakout Artist - Male where he has Justin Bieber, Jason Derulo, and Nick Jonas & The Administration as competitors. Additionally, his debut album "B.o.B Presents The Adventures of Bobby Ray" is listed among the contenders for Choice Album - Rap.

In addition to going head-to-head with B.o.B. in Choice Hook Up, Lovato also has a chance to be crowned Choice Breakout Artist - Female. She is battling Miranda Cosgrove, Selena Gomez and The Scene, Ke$ha and Nicki Minaj. This Disney songstress receives two other nods in Choice Love Song for "Catch Me" and Choice Album - Pop for "Here We Go Again".

Although B.o.B and Demi Lovato dominate this second wave of TCAs nominations, Drake is the one who sweeps the most nods in music as he receives five gongs in total if his three nods are combined with the previously-announced nominations. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift and Usher, who led the first pack with Drake, only manage to add two gongs each, giving them four nods in total.

The 12th Annual Teen Choice Awards is going to be aired live on Fox Monday, August 9 at 8:00-10:00 P.M. ET/PT. Katy Perry has been announced to host and perform, while David Archuleta, Kristen Bell, John Cena, Miranda Cosgrove, Zac Efron, Victoria Justice, Jim Parsons and Shailene Woodley are expected to attend the show.
