David Archuleta's new album is on the way. In anticipation to that, the runner-up of "American Idol" season 7 has done a photoshoot for the upcoming release and planned to reveal the first offering of the effort next month.
The brand new material reportedly is titled "Something 'Bout Love". The song is confirmed to make its way out on David's official site on July 13 and it will be made available for digital purchase a week later on date 20.
In a bid to tide fans over, three behind-the-scene pictures from the album photoshoot are put forward. One of the images shows him throwing dart on ballons. He tweeted on June 24, "Had a blast at the photoshoot! I never thought I'd have that much fun taking pictures haha. Can't wait for you guys to see!"
David Archuleta's new album is eyed to be released in fall with the title still kept under wraps. Recording sessions for the album have been started since he was touring with Demi Lovato in summer 2009. He wrote on his blog back in November last year, "I got to work with Matt Squire and Victoria Horn, and this week I've been working with Daniel Bedingfield and Kina Grannis."

I'm really excited too! David sure knows how to stir us up! BTW all, David will be singing the National Anthem July 4th in Washington DC in "A Capitol Fourth" on PBS tv. Can't wait to hear him sing it from the Capitol lawn. :)
