Music

From Australia, this multi-talented artist is spreading her wings Stateside by now traveling across North America to support Adam Lambert and doing cross-promotion for 'Believe (II)'.

AceShowbiz - Slowly but sure, Australian musician Orianthi stepped into the U.S. music scene. Starting her career as lead guitarist for the likes of Prince and Carrie Underwood, the guitarist / singer / songwriter who already made a name Down Under once impressed Michael Jackson with her guitar performance.

She was chosen to serve as the lead guitarist on Michael's This Is It concert series in Summer 2009. Even though, the gig was stalled due to the sudden death of the superstar, the experience of being handpicked by the late King of Pop has become one of the many things that she was proud of. "He made me believe in myself more, and I learned so much," she said.

From a kid who got a lot of pressure from her peers due to her passion in music, now Orianthi has transformed into a multi-talented guitarist who stole people's attention with her talent of creating chords and funky rhythm. She has dropped a major-label debut album "Believe" in October 2009 and now re-releases it under the title "Believe (II)".

Four new songs are added to the re-packaged album which has been in the U.S. stores since June 8. "Shut Up and Kiss Me" was released in April as the lead single with a music video, featuring "If I Can Dream" stars Benjamin Elliott and Giglianne Braga, premiered later on.

She is currently touring across North America with Adam Lambert and Allison Iraheta and will stay on the road at least until September. More detailed info about her upcoming shows with the two "American Idol" singers can be found on her MySpace.
