Winner Lee DeWyze and runner-up Crystal Bowersox gave a crowd in New York City a taste of the upcoming live tour with a duet.
Lee DeWyze, Crystal Bowersox, Casey James and the rest of "American Idol" Top 10 took a brief moment on the stage at Herald Square on Wednesday, June 2 afternoon to warm up for their summer tour. They gave the crowd gathering outside Macy's a preview of what can be expected from the "American Idol" tour.
However, due to the limited time, only the Top 4 get to perform on the stage. It was opened with a duet between Lee and Crystal on the cover song "Falling Slowly". Mike Lynche and Casey then relayed it with another duet, strapping their guitar on.
As soon as the mini concert wrapped up, the Top 10 headed to a special room for a press conference with Entertainment Tonight. Beside talking about the experience on the show, they teased what would happen on the jaunt.
"American Idol Live!" summer tour is kicked off on July 1 in Auburn Hills, MI. The current schedule puts the end date on September 16 in Portland, ME. Tickets and full dates are available at LiveNation.
