"Glee" star Jane Lynch has wed her psychiatrist fiancee Dr. Lara Embry on Monday night, May 31, Us Magazine confirmed. The couple, who got engaged to Embry in November 2009, exchanged vows in a small ceremony at the Blue Heron restaurant in Sunderland, Massachusetts.

The 20-minute ceremony, which was held in the restaurant's patio, was started at 5.30 P.M. and attended by around twenty guests. Lynch opted a cream wrap blouse and black slacks, while her now-wife Embry donned a cream and black cocktail-length frock.

"They were very happy. There was lots of smiling," the restaurant's manager, Scott Mercure, told the site. Meanwhile, restaurant co-owner Deborah Snow also shared to People, "There were no celebrities or recognizable faces there. Lara's daughter was there, along with close, close friends of the couple. It was small, warm, intimate and very sweet. You could feel the love and friendship amongst the group."

Following the ceremony, attendees feasted on a reception while a band played jazz and "a variety" of tunes for "upbeat dancing," Mercure revealed. Appetizer included oysters, lobster triangles, Japanese crab salad, seared scallop with apple reduction and artichoke fritters with lemon aioli.

After that, beet salad, striped bass with lemon buerre blanc, truffle mushroom salad, pan-seared breast of duck with duck confit, and herb salad were served as the main course. The party concluded around 10 P.M. with cheese plates and a house-made cake filled with chocolate mousse, vanilla butter cream and fresh strawberries.

does it have to mention that they're gay? we don't mention that every man and woman who gets married is straight. the writer is just reporting a wedding. everyone can figure out that they are gay by seeing their names are both female. duh.

i love how this article is so politically correct and so inoffensive that it doesn't even mention they're a gay married couple. not that there's anything wrong with that, but it's hilarious how pc and afraid the article writer is that he/she dances all over the whole "they're gay" part without ever mentioning the word "gay" lol. funny.
