Few months before the release of "The Expendables", Lionsgate Films has launched a website for the film as well as a brand new sneak peek video. Opened with a short preview of how the mercenaries gather for a mission, the video then captures them kicking some a** and performing their fighting skills as well as their abilities to use various kinds of weapons.

"The Expendables" is a hard-hitting action/thriller about a group of mercenaries hired to infiltrate a South American country and overthrow its ruthless dictator. Once the mission begins, the men realize things aren't quite as they appear, finding themselves caught in a dangerous web of deceit and betrayal.

With their mission thwarted and an innocent life in danger, the men struggle with an even tougher challenge - one that threatens to destroy this band of brothers. They later begin to learn that their true enemies are rogue ex-CIA operative James Monroe and his henchman Paine.

The film has a star-studded cast ensemble with Sylvester Stallone playing the leader of The Expendables. Portraying the members of his team are Jason Statham, Jet Li, Terry Crews and Randy Couture. Eric Roberts and Steve Austin play the villainous characters.

They are additionally joined by Bruce Willis who stars as the man who hires The Expendables, Mickey Rourke as former member of The Expendables, and Arnold Schwarzenegger as an old rival of Stallone's Barney Ross. Directed and written by Stallone, this action adventure movie will hit theaters across the U.S. on August 13.
