Sarah Jessica Parker and her co-stars have once again brought their "Sex and the City" glamorous lives to New York City. On Monday, May 24, the world premiere of "Sex and the City 2" was held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City and the film's main cast all showed up.
Parker, who came hand in hand with her husband Matthew Broderick, dazzled people with her neon yellow Valentino Couture gown. Her co-star Kim Cattrall meanwhile wore a golden dress which features some sparkling effects.
Kristin Davis picked up another vibrant color, pink, for her strapless gown. Cynthia Nixon, in the meantime, toned down the fashion parade with her simple but sexy black gown. The female leads were additionally joined by other cast such as Chris Noth, Alice Eve, Noah Mills, and Liza Minnelli to support the premiere.
Additionally, the special screening welcomed top-notch stars as the guests, such as Whitney Houston, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Gabourey Sidibe, Vanessa Williams, Jessica Szohr and Michelle Trachtenberg. Later, model Padma Lakshmi, talk show host Gayle King and Australian singer Orianthi were also seen among those who attended the blue carpet event.
Taking place two years after "Sex and the City", "Sex and the City 2" is set in New York City and Abu Dhabi. The film will follow Carrie Bradshaw and her three best friends who have a vacation in the sandy country while they are finding themselves in-and fighting against-the traditional roles of marriage, motherhood and more.
