2010 Cannes Film Festival came to an end on Sunday, May 23 and was marked with Palme d'Or closing ceremony. Numbers of stars gathered at the event, including Kirsten Dunst and Diane Kruger who hit the red carpet with their colorful dresses.
The "Spider-Man" trilogy babe, who was slated to present an award during the ceremony, wore a bright blue long dress by Channel. Kruger, in the meantime, was covered in a pink strapless Jason Wu gown which sports black color on its bust part.
Kate Beckinsale additionally was seen coming to the festival by wearing a classic black dress which has details on the chest area. Also captured on camera when arriving at the closing ceremony was Salma Hayek who looked sexy in her pale pink dress.
Among the attendees there were actors including Benicio Del Toro and Javier Bardem. At the annual award show, the boyfriend of Penelope Cruz was awarded with Best Actor kudo for his performance in "Biutiful", sharing the honor with Elio Germano who stars in "Our Life".
"Thanks to the jury for this beautiful award," Bardem said on his acceptance speech. "This award is a recognition to my work which would not exist if it weren't for the extraordinary movie Alejandro Inarritu has made."
Juliette Binoche won Best Actress for her portrayal of a French art gallery owner who pretends to be married to an academic writer in "Certified Copy". Meanwhile, the coveted Palme d'Or snatched by "Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives" from Thai director Apichatpong Weerasethakul.
