The direction of Joe's upcoming solo album is electropop, dance music, while Kevin is yet to reveal anything but he does say about having interest to follow his brothers' footsteps.

AceShowbiz - Following recent announcement that Joe Jonas is preparing a solo album, details of the upcoming project are opened up. The middle of the Jonas Brothers said he is recording electropop, dance music and has finished one of them.

Joe works with producer Frankmusik. He told Just Jared Jr., "Frank is really cool and talented. We met a couple months ago and when we first met, it didn't go as planned. We weren't sure if we were gonna work together. His background is very ELECTROPOP, dance music but now, that's pretty much the direction."

In the interview done when the Jonas boys promoted "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam", he continued, "I've been working with a bunch of artists and producers, but mostly artists. [Frankmusik and I] have one song together and I'm excited!"

On his inspiration meanwhile, Joe shared, "When I first started working on side project music, I've always been influenced by artists like Michael Buble who can tell stories in their vocals. I thought that might be a good place for me to go but that's not really what I do. I love to ROCK OUT, JUMP AROUND and GET THE CROWD GOING. So once I started writing, that was the feel of the record."

While Joe Jonas is busy with his side project, what will his brothers bandmate Kevin Jonas and Nick Jonas be doing? The question is answered when the three brothers did a telephone news conference with Lehigh Valley Music.

Kevin who is the only member who hasn't done any side project said, "I absolutely would love to do something musically, as well. But it's just been an amazing year, we have a lot coming up." As for Nick, he is adamant that he will continue making music with The Administration. "The next couple of years. I'm continuing to write things for Jonas Brothers, The Administration and other artists and there are always songs around," so he said.

Indeed, Jonas Brothers will still stick to each other to record their upcoming fifth studio album which may come out in 2011. Also, they are gearing up to kick off their tour with "Camp Rock 2" cast beginning July 27 in Dallas, Texas.
