Cyndi Lauper who is arguably the main attraction in this season's line-up of "The Celebrity Apprentice" has just been sent home. The singer was in the losing team led by Holly Robinson Peete who failed to impress in the decorating challenge.
Teams switched members this week, Curtis Stone moved to Sharon Osbourne's team although Sharon and Maria Kanellis said they hated him last week. Meanwhile, Holly has to keep up with Cyndi who called her "bee-yotch" in the last boardroom. The task was to decorate an apartment within a day and one room should have celebrity theme.
Holly's team chose Balinese as the theme and Sharon acquired the information, relieved that she has modern design in mind. Holly put Cyndi in charge of the celebrity room but they had disagreement over its color. Cyndi wanted it to be vibrant and fun but Holly said it better be normal. Cyndi called Holly "conservative".
In the end the execs preferred Sharon's design even though they said the celebrity room is boring. Sharon won $40,000 for Cedars Sinai hospital's colon cancer program.
Meanwhile in the boardroom, Bret Michaels was criticized for not having a say in Holly-Cyndi squabble. Mr. Trump also made sure they all know that Holly was the project manager of the losing team. But eventually he picked Cyndi to be fired.

I have been watching celeb apprentice here in New Zealand, several months behind, however that Holly is a nasty piece of work and has dissed Cindy the whole way through the show. I love Cindy and her creative, fun and sassy personality. Cindy gets my respect hands down!!! Holly, your just like one of those nasty mean girls in the school yard, it shows the level of insecurities you must have to put someone like Cindy down. Holly is a Beeyatch from hell!
I LOVE Cyndi and felt so badly that she had to take the flack she did on the show. She is a sweet, talented, beautiful, special woman who should be respected and listened to and I hope to see her performing for the rest of my life. You sing it girl and I will always be watching. Cyndi is the bomb...I guess Donald doesn't want to have a pattern of apprentices that have been in the spotlight for a very long time.
I AM SOOO BUMMED THAT CYNDI WAS FIRED OVER THAT LITTLE B**** HOLLY. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT HOLLY, WHO'S LOST 2 TASKS WAS SPARED FROM BEING FIRED IN BOTH LOSSES? ANYBODY ELSE WOULD HAVE BEEN FIRED. I LOVE CYNDI. SHE'S HILLARIOUS AND I THINK I ONLY WATCHED BECAUSE OF HER. Trump kept Holly because she is mean and the producers think people like to watch the toxic villian 'til the end, as strange as it seems. But, I think people find Cindy much more interesting. Mean, bitchy people are a dime a dozen.
Cyndie is great, She's creative, real and unique. Holly should have been fired. Holly's design was horrible and she treats Cyndie with so much much disrespect, it's just gross. Where did she learn it was okay to walk all over people like that?
The firing of Cyndi Lauper brought tears to my eyes. It affirms the terrible character of the successful over those who use love as their personal mantra. CYNDI LAUPER YOU WILL BE MISSED!!!!

Cyndi Lauper was the one who should have stayed. Holly should have been fired.
Cyndi lauper WAS the star of the show, and basically the entertainment for the show this season, now that she's gone.... there's nothing to watch.
Holly was kept on because Trump needs a good fight at the end with someone we hate. Like Rivers and Duke, there was a good cat fight! We all love Cyndi, she had to go. Like Joan Rivers, I didn't care for Cyndi, I thought she was frivolous, until this show. I really like her and appreciate her imagination and creativity. And Annie Duke is like Holly, I really have no respect for them, shallow no talent backstabbers. Sharon and Holly would make a good finale, but Donald had 2 women fight it out last year, so he might change it up. The 2 guys wouldn't get a good ruckus going.
So glad Cyndi is gone! She is a toxic, hateful, mean woman. And talk about a sore loser... Brett tried to say "it's not personal" and give her a hug at the elevator, but Cyndi acted like a spoiled brat and totally dissed poor Brett. She was too scared to be the project manager knowing that if they lost, Trump usually fires the project manger.... NOT THIS TIME CYNDI, YOUR "TRUE COLORS" WERE SHINNING THROUGH!
I have stopped watching celebrity apprentice now that Cyndi is fired. Cyndi, Brett, Sharon are the most creative thinkers on that show. The show is boring without their creativity. I have lost hope for the show. Cyndi,a major creative mind, got kicked to the curb. I got tired of hearing Holly's difficulty in dealing with Cyndi~think sea foam green....those rooms looked small,and cheap, think suburban living room....Cyndi is a brilliant Genius with a great heart..and she also was bringing in the dough...

Holly is a lame player. She has not made wise decisions and she´d thought this is only a normal apprtience show perhpas. Cindy is the point why I want to watch this show. Cindy has personality and she is always the TOP GUN in each task. Well she gets her personality but you cannot say that she is a terrible player. I love CINDY !
very bad decision... Holly is rude and an all out bitch.. she was the project manager and made all the decisions EXCEPT what went into Cindys room and for us who were watching... she condescendingly "let" Cindy do her thing in that room...to keep her away from the rest of the project which failed miserably... the only thing they liked was Cindys room ... which holly had nothing to do with but pick the color and she purposely picked red .. which was opposite of her zen coloes ... hoping to make Cindy look even worse... I do not understand trumps reasoning... In the past, he fired project managers solely because their team lost the project... her decorating decisions sucked! and the only thing they liked was Cindy's efforts... this was soooo wrong!! I will NOT be watching.. the rest of the season !!!

Little Don-Don should have worried about remembering his lines next time rather than trying to blame cindy for losing. She did nothing to contribute to their loss and actually was their only redemption. What a bad call, she's 2-for-2 on getting over.
I won't be watching anymore. Without Cyndi its pathetic. Holly is horrible!

I agreee. What a lame reason to fire someone, because they do not lower themselves by arguing. That's what GOOD management is for, to see through the crap, and not put up with the crap. Holly's style is crap.

Poor choice of who to fire...I think that's the second time Holly got a pass. Donald must like her. What the judges didn't like : 1) Seafoam green (Holly) 2) Cluttered look (Holly) 3) Stuff looked cheap (Holly) It was ridiculous to fire Cindy...even if she is not a good arguer.

Cindy was robbed, quite plainly. The person who did the best room and worked the hardest is the one fired?! Unbelievable. All that greasy-haired Trump compadre could focus on is Holly 'thought up the red paint'. BFD, it takes much more than paint color to make a room, dummy! All Cindy had to say in response to that was "Sea Foam green" (which looked like vomit green, honestly), which HRP also picked saying how *wonderful* it was. Gag. Holly Robinson Peete is a no-talent, cowardly, uptight B**** who should have gone LONG ago. She hasn't a creative bone in her body and is NO businesswoman. The only thing she excels at is being boring, dull and conservative (not talking politically -- don't know her politics) and her only talent is blaming others for her mistakes. For God's sake she almost didn't let Cindy SING in the last show but did she admit that?! Hell no! At that, Cindy only sung ONE out of three commercials -- Holly's idea? Peete also wouldn't have picked Autism as her cause unless it effected her own family. Cindy isn't even gay but has the compassion to work for a cause that causes hurt for many people throughout the world. And that two-faced, crass Bret Michaels lost what little respect I had left for that 'hair band' BALD manwhore. The only worthwhile contender left is Sharon Osbourne; if she doesn't win against the no-talents she's left with I'll never watch that piece of crap show again; IF I ever forgive them for what they did to Cindy. No wonder Trump has gone bankrupt multiple times if those are his kind of well thought out 'executive decisions'.
Cyndi needed to say to Donald, "Yes Holly picked red, but she also picked the horribly ugly seafoam green." Holly should have been fired for losing her second project as project manager. The only project she won was because she raised a lot of money for her charity, which she does for a living.
One week their firing people because of the task. The next it's how they argue in the boardroom. Last night they never even talked about Holly's decorating loss. It was all about yelling in the boardroom. Inconsistant. All for ratings. Holly Peete is a carbon copy of Annie Duke.
