AceShowbiz - A look at "Machete" which is directed, written and produced by Robert Rodriguez has been made available in a form of a trailer. Called "illegal", the video opens with a scene in which Danny Trejo who takes the lead role states, "This is Machete, with a special Cinco de Mayo message... to Arizona!"
The trailer additionally teases through the star-studded cast ensemble, previewing scenes which features the likes of Jessica Alba, Robert De Niro, Michelle Rodriguez, Steven Seagal and Lindsay Lohan. Made to be old-fashioned, the video also hints that the film will have a lot of bloody battle scenes.
Based on the fake trailer in Rodriguez's "Grindhouse", "Machete" tells the story of a Mexican ex-Federal agent named Machete with a gift for wielding a blade, who hides out as a day laborer and is double-crossed by a corrupt state senator. This action flick is slated to arrive in U.S. theaters on September 3.
