Close relationship between Tony Stark and Pepper Potts in "Iron Man 2" is further teased through a fresh featurette. Released by ET Online, the video shows many new footage as well as behind the scenes of the shooting which feature Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow.
"Pepper and Tony are very much in their same vibe - that great bantery, good chemistry kind of thing," Paltrow said in the interview. "This time for the sequel it was like putting on an old pair of shoes. It was great."
"Tony is kind of not fully acknowledging that although Pepper is his professional employee, that there's something there that he will never find with anyone else," Downey Jr. also dished on his and Paltrow's characters. Meanwhile, director Jon Favreau added, "You know, everybody in the audience is like, 'Why don't they just drop it all, because they clearly both adore each other'."
Additionally, new promo pictures from the "Iron Man" sequel have hit the web. Featuring Pepper and Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow individually, the shots capture the two characters in similar poses that have been seen in the previously released images but are added with different backgrounds.
Scarlett Johansson is tapped to slip into the Black Widow's costume. Another villain, Ivan Vanko/Whiplash meanwhile is portrayed by Mickey Rourke. Moreover, Don Cheadle is hired to take over the role of James "Rhodey" Rhodes from Terrence Howard.
"Iron Man 2" will follow billionaire inventor Tony who is asked to share his technology after the world knows that he is the man behind the armored superhero Iron Man. Unwilling to divulge the secrets behind the Iron Man armor because he fears the information will slip into the wrong hands, Tony forges new alliances and confronts powerful new forces with Pepper and Rhodey at his side. The movie will be dropped in U.S. theaters on May 7.
