Before the new sneak peek video comes out on April 1, Columbia teases audience with the stills which show the leading lady in two different hair colors.
Columbia Pictures has given another preview to "Salt" by releasing some new pictures which highlight lead actress Angelina Jolie. While she is seen having black hair in one image, the other still has her sporting blonde locks when she is on the run.
To further promote the upcoming movie which will open wide in the U.S. on July 23, Columbia will debut another trailer on Thursday, April 1. The new sneak peek video for the thriller will make its way out via Apple.
"Salt" revolves around Jolie's Evelyn Salt, a CIA officer who is accused as a Russian spy. She goes on the run, using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative to elude capture. Salt's efforts to prove her innocence only serve to cast doubt on her motives, as the hunt to uncover the truth behind her identity continues and the question remains: "Who Is Salt?"
Having also Liev Schreiber and Chiwetel Ejiofor on the cast ensemble, "Salt" was originally planned to be Tom Cruise's starring vehicle. However, the actor dropped out of the project because he was afraid that the character is too similar to his "Mission: Impossible" role. Thus, director Phillip Noyce decided to reverse the gender.
