Police cited it as a domestic violence case where he appeared to have scratches and the girlfriend is arrested for being responsible.

A relationship gone wrong, Gary Dourdan was physically abuse by his little Spanish girlfriend. The Warrick Brown of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" is allegedly the victim of domestic violence when police officers were called to his Venice, C.A. home on Tuesday, March 16 afternoon.

TMZ reported that his much smaller girlfriend Maria Asis del Alamo was arrested on cuff, taken to the station and booked on misdemeanor domestic battery. Meanwhile, police found Dourdan all scratched up. Alamo is 5'8" tall and weighing 110 lbs while the 43-year-old actor is 6'2" and 190 lbs.

Alamo has since been freed on bail and there is no further development about the case yet.

Gary Dourdan is best known as one of the CSIs. His character was killed in 2008 when he refused to sign any further contract.

    I don't call a woman 5'8" "little"!!!

weight and size mentioned? Why does that matter, only a wish to hit him hard enough and he could be injured, hitting someone means risking whatever damage could happen. She is still the main purpotrator of violence. And even if she is little, she still has a fine fist.

i have witnessed numerous times a small gal beating up their boyfriend then calling the cops to say - he started it. Cops tend to protect the woman - because of the size difference. Good for you Dourdan for standing tall, and letting the police step in!!!!! It sounds like she deserved it, but i too agree - this article glorifies the assumptions, not the facts - creating unnecessary, negative gossip. eeew

I agree Debr! I'm just shy of 5'9 and I'm usually the tallest woman in the room. However, I would like to point out this article makes Dourdan sound like a punk...could this be because Dourdan did not retaliate with violence? I don't know the article does not say...it does say she was the agressor and he was the abused. What bothers me is that this article has a instigating tone...should he have hit her back? How childish. I applaud the man for holding his temper...calling the police(the article does not say it was him) and not blocking her arrest! The article is poor in my opinion the only way to know if this man is "abused" by his girlfriend is if there is a history of this behavior. I can't stand gossip.
