ABC, as the official network that airs the 2010 Oscars, slips in a promotion of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" during the ceremony's break. In the ad, Jimmy Kimmel wakes up between Ben Affleck and his wife Jennifer Garner. The narrator then says, "Everyone wants to go to bed with Jimmy."
The video is also promoting Kimmel's After Oscars Special. Beside having Robert Downey Jr. as his in-studio guest, Jimmy will also premiere his new skit "Handsome Men's Club". Over the weekend, he has released two sneak peeks that give the idea of the sketch. Kimmel appears as the president of the club, but member Matthew McConaughey is suggesting they pick a new leader.
The other members such as John Krasinski, Lenny Kravitz and Patrick Dempsey agree to take a vote whether Kimmel really deserves a spot in the handsome club. "On a historic night where Jimmy Kimmel has previously debuted such pieces as the 'I'm (Expletive) Ben Affleck' video and Mel Gibson's 'The Colonel,' tune in to see another celebrity-filled surprise, this year featuring special appearances from such notables as Matthew McConaughey, Rob Lowe, Sting, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner and many more," ABC said in a release.
Later in the night too, Keith Urban will perform "Till Summer Comes Around".
