'Fast Five' Begins Scouting in Brazil

Giving an update on the fifth 'The Fast and the Furious' film is lead actor Vin Diesel, who writes on his Facebook page, 'The team is on their way to Brazil this evening, to scout.'

After taking place in several different countries, the next installment of "The Fast and the Furious" is going to go to South America. Vin Diesel has just taken it to his Facebook to inform that the crew for "Fast Five" have begun scouting in Brazil.

"Had a meeting with Justin Lin today regarding the Fast saga... some daring but fascinating thoughts in terms of action set pieces... and relationships, old and new," so he wrote on Thursday, March 4. "The team is on their way to Brazil this evening, to scout, and to see what selection of cars there are."

The first film was set in Southern California, where the fourth movie "Fast and Furious" also took place. The sequel "2 Fast 2 Furious" and the third installment "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" meanwhile were filmed in Florida and Tokyo, Japan respectively.

The story of "Fast Five" reportedly will follow Vin Diesel's Dom and Paul Walker's Brian as fugitives who are pursued by relentless lawmen. Justin Lin is set to serve behind the lens when the film kick off production later this year with the script penned by Chris Morgan. Neal Moritz produces while Universal Pictures eyes June 10, 2011 U.S. release date.

why brazil theirz no excitement i was thinking if they shot the movie in paris
