Award-winning series "VH1 Unplugged" returns with a big bang this month since Adam Lambert has been tapped to be the first guest. Michelle Collins of BestWeekEver.tv reported that she attended the exclusive taping of the show a couple of weeks ago and the execs have allowed her to announce the performers.
Lambert's date is March 10. It will be the first of eight scheduled episodes that present among others Phoenix (for MTV), The Script (for VH1) and Reba McEntire (for CMT). In the show's manner, Lambert will be performing songs from his debut album "For Your Entertainment" accompanied by acoustic back up and surrounded by audience in an intimate stage.
Lambert is currently touring in Australia to promote the album until March 9. One of his stops Down Under included the country's version of "So You Think You Can Dance". After that, he would travel to Singapore, Tokyo, U.K. and finally wind down in Canada in early April.

I cant wait to see Adam on VH1 unplugged. He is the most entertaining,fascinating intriguing interesting artist in decades.

I was there in the audience. He was fantastic and really funny. He was right there in front of me for two hours of bliss. I was right in the third row (the last row) in the middle with my friend and I cried when he sang Broken Open for the first time. You guys will love this show. I can not wait to see this.

I love to watch Adam unplugged. I saw Adam and his band live in Indio and they were freaking EPIC!! If you ever get a chance to see them live, don't miss it!!

OMG Adam's unplugged Whole Lotta Love is EPIC! I hope he does that one, it gives me chills. And Michelle is hysterically funny when she interviews Adam. The two of them hit if off and make each other laugh until they cry. This is a show not to miss!

Great news - can not wait! In the meantime, I will be consuming every bit of Lambert that my free time allows me, via blogosphere, written word, music video channels, twitter, etc. and hopefully I can soon add RADIO to that list! Come on American radio, to those Top 40 and Variety stations that are just being stubborn at this point, start playing Lambert - at least WWFM if not FYE single - it is very in keeping with Top 40 and Variety Playlists! Thanks to those stations who are playing it. Can not wait for this VH1 Unplugged performance, and Michelle Collin's reports as well - LOVE Michelle!
