An alum of "American Idol" himself, Adam Lambert did not miss the live performances by Top 12 guys on the hit reality singing competition Wednesday, February 24. Shortly after the show was ended, he took it to his Twitter to offer his comments on some of the singers.
Adam started it by praising Todrick Hall who opened the show with an R&B rendition of Kelly Clarkson's "Since You've Been Gone". "Toddricks def gonna surprise us!! Mad talent!! Def the full package," so he declared his opinion.
The "For Your Entertainment" singer also had good words for the other two contestants; Casey James and Andrew Garcia, calling both of them "def the real deal. [and] authentic." During the evening, Casey and Andrew performed on the last sets, singing Bryan Adams' "Heaven" and Fall Out Boy's "Sugar, We're Goin' Down" respectively.
Despite Adam's approval for their performances, none of the three contestants really satisfied the four judges actually. Todrick was called "stupid" by Simon Cowell for "completely murdering the original song." Casey was praised by Ellen DeGeneres for his good look but told by Simon that physical appearance is not enough so he has to "manage the talent thing as well." As for Andrew, he was accused of being "too serious, too indulgent and not original enough" in his performance.

hope the panel of judges are entertaining, the contestant are not. Not bad, just ordinary. It took 8 seasons to find the exciting Mr. Lambert. Past winners are just the cookie cutter, safe, American Idols. Love to watch the re-runs of season 8. Adam was so far out of the league. Wish he could sing John Lennons "imagine" on his guest appearence. He could make anything work!
Everything is a matter of preception and we all preceive things differently which is why we don't all agree!!! I don't think there will ever be a better singer on AI than Adam Lambert!!! So what if he is gay or glam or whatever!!! He has always been upfront and didn't try to hide it!!! I love his music and his fantastic voice and plan on listening to all his albums for my entertainment!!!
I disagree with Adam Lambert on Chris Allen. Chris is fine on TV car commericals but he NEVER should have sung a Beatles song. BTW Adam shouldhave won Idol last year, and note he is the one in the news,doing concerts ect. He is real talent

I think they all sucked. They will probably get better as time goes on, but for Tuesday and Wednesdays show they were all terrible. No real standout yet
I love Adam, but Todrick or whatever his name is completely butchered Since U Been Gone. I'm with him on Casey (<3) and Garcia, although the latter wasn't as good as I expected, really.
Let me correct myself.. Lee is the best GUY... The Siohban girl or the dreadlock girl should win.
Lee is the best.. I can't believe that none of the judges linked him to Dave Matthews.. that's totally the kind of thing he should be doing!! That would be a real credit to the show if someone like that won this year. Casey BLOWS! What the heck? The only one worse is that goony kid that thinks he is Jim Morrison and the disgustingly fat Mike... DUDE! Simon called and he wants his tight fitting shirts back.. GROSS!
I agree with abbey, We have a female Adam on the show this year and I think Siobhan will be in the top with Casey, her vocals rock.

This is the year for the girls. Of the top 6, it's going to be hard to choose one over the others. The guys are really going to have to improve along the way to catch up.
Forget the boys Adam. You should've listened to the girls. Siobhan Magnus is going to win!! She reminds me of you.
It was a boring show. I missed Adam Lambert. No one will compare now.
After last year idol they should have ended the show. Adam Lambert was the most exciting contestant ever. Now i will be surprised if they will find anyone that powerfull.
Boo on todrick Hall- was bored before he even finished. Yea on Casey James this night and Andy Garcia, usually great, was average tonight.
The most boring idol yet. None of the 24 is a breakout artist...I predict 50% less viewership by the end of the show.
